G-Drive (“the Company”, “we”, “us”) are committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy.
We are an established Driving School in Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Scunthorpe, and Brigg committed to providing the best customer care and quality tuition for one-hour weekly driving lessons or full intensive driving courses.

This Privacy Notice aims to inform you of our practices on the collection, storage, and processing of personal data. By visiting www.grimsbydrivingschool.co.uk (“our website”) you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.
For the purpose of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the Data Controller is Grimsby Driving School, Business Hive, 13 Dudley Street, Grimsby. Website Enquiries:

By completing the ‘Contact Us’ form on our website or by corresponding with us by telephone, e-mail or otherwise in relation to services that we may provide, we will record and process your information via our internal systems so that we can provide the best service for you. We will never disclose your personal information to any third parties without your consent. Website Analytics:
With regards to each of your visits to our website we will automatically collect the following information:

Data collected as a result of you completing our online enquiry form or contact us form may be retained for up to one year, unless your enquiry converts into a sale for our services, in which case the retention period may be six years post termination of us providing you with services.

Accessing Your Personal Information:

Grimsby Driving School (G-Drive) aims to be fully transparent in terms of its data protection practices. Individuals are welcome to make a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) under the GDPR.

To make a request to us for any personal information we may hold about you, we require you to put the request in writing if possible. We will respond to all data access requests without delay and at the latest within one month of receipt of the request. It may be necessary for us to extend this period by up to a further two months if we experience high volumes of Data Access Requests in the same period although we will always aim to inform you of this at the earliest opportunity. We are required to use reasonable means to verify the identity of any individual making subject access requests.

If we do hold any personally identifiable information about you we will:

  • give you a description of it;

  • tell you why we are holding it;

  • tell you who it could be disclosed to; and

  • let you have a copy of the information in an intelligible form if you require it.

    If we do hold information about you, you can ask us to correct any mistakes by, once again, contacting us.

 

Disclosure of Personal Data:

We will not disclose personal data outside of the company without your consent unless we are legally required to. For clients, data will be shared with the DVSA and DVLA in order to fulfill our agreement of providing you with driving tuition.
